This is a perfect example of why I hate it when books are sold out to Hollywood. As a fan of the early books; I'm appalled by the sugar-coated greed exhibited by Mrs. Harris, and her feeling the need to write this. I'm so disappointed by this series, and how it panned out. Waste of time. Glad I didn't pay anything for it and got it from the library. I was hoping for an extended epilogue about Sookie & Sam and some of the other main characters of the series. I didn't even remember many of these characters. Some of the only got a sentence or two. ...more

Two words...Gratuitous Epilogue. At times strangely overspecific (do I really need to know how the children of bit secondary characters died) and at times ridiculously vague (John Quinn went on to have many more adventures. Really? Who would have guessed)

It was good for what it is but I'd be livid if I had to have paid money to read it. Took all of 20 minutes, with interruptions, just to find out what could've been included at the end of the final book. ...more
