I think I'm allowed to have a love-hate relationship with Charley Davidson, the New Mexico PI who can see dead people, sleeps with the son of Satan, and also has a side job as the grim reaper. What I liked about this installment of the Charley Davidson series is that Charley & Reyes appeared more like regular people trying to live their lives. They both appeared much more human. Charley is still hilarious.
