I can't believe how the pace and excitement of this book just kept going and going. At no point did you ever feel that it had slowed down. This, the third book, was the continuation and conclusion of the second and it was absolutely fabulous. I loved how everyone came together at the end in order to defeat the common enemy. This series has an amazing magic system, and Mr. Nix eloquently weaves the story around sound. The disreputable dog is my favorite character for a number of reasons. Don't miss out on the earlier books in the series as they are essential to the story thus far.

Another good ending to a trilogy. The story was a little slow in a long, drawn out chase, but it was all worth it.
