Did not love this book. The main character just spent all of his time whining and complaining about everything and everyone! Yawn. Not sure how this one became a classic.

What an interesting read into a troubled mind. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this book and I had to get used to the way he phrased things. The book definitely rouse my sympathy for the main character, Holden Caulfield, who is going through a very tough time on his own with nobody who seems to understand him. It took a while before all 'bad things' he experienced come to light and it explained a lot as to how it got him to be who & where he is, drowning and unable to find a hand-hold to ...more
