Great collection of seasonal short stories. Some of the authors featured in this book I had previously read and I was quite satisfied with their work. I have now been introduced to some lovely authors that I now must go and read more by them.

This was such a fun mix of holiday stories. There were sweet, light ones and dreamy ones and some magic and fantasy filled ones.

These are the stories as I'd rate them one by one:

* Midnight: 5/5
I love these two!
* The Lady and the Fox
I also loved this one! 4/5 I love how she updated what he gave her.
* Angels in the Snow
This one just did not hold my attention but it was cute. 3/5
* Polaris is Where You'll Find Me
I just could not get into this one. It was just okay 2/5

Midnights by Rainbow Rowell

I want more! This was amazing, I was totally taken by this story. I've never read any Rainbow Rowell before, but Eleanor & Park is waiting for me on my shelf, so I think I might need to read it soon.

This was the perfect book to read during the Christmas season. I am typically not a fan of short stories, but each of the stories included were like individually wrapped treats. They were sweet and heartwarming and filled with wonder and laughter. This book allowed me to let my Christmas spirit fill me again in what could have been a difficult holiday. (Audiobook - Which will start being a new mark on these reviews as my 40-minute drive each way to work has become a new time for podcasts and books now.)

This was about as amazing as I was expecting it to be. Most of the stories, like all good short stories, left me longing for more at their ends and fully sure those worlds went on somewhere beyond the last word in each other. This is a fantastic collection of stories for the holidays. They were mostly light and fun, and just perfect to get you in a festive mood.

Despite Laini Taylor being one of my favorite authors, I didn't really love her story in this collection. It just didn't really fit with the others. The other one I didn't really care for was the story by David Levithan. Too much navel gazing for my tastes, and I'm not tempted to pick up any of his books.
