I'm always telling myself to read more about Greek Mythology yet I have not done it, until now. I kept hearing the hype on this book and finally decided to read it.
It is a beautifully written book. I was captured by the story immediately. I fell in love with Patroclus and the person he was and became. The emotions that are written in this story come through loud and clear. With certain events you actually deep down feel happy, sad, angry, etc. By the middle/end of the book I couldn't s ...more

I like historical fiction, but I just don't think this author is for me. I didn't really care for this one or Circe. I just find her writing boring.
