I like thrillers and I like this new contemporary style of a slow burn thriller where the crime is not as important as the story and characters, and this is what The Guest List is.

A wedding on a secluded island. What could be better than this, right? Multiple POVs, that's how you make it even more entertaining!

Why on earth does this have such strong reviews? This book was full of cliches. It dragged at the beginning with too many character shifts and details that no one cares about. The whole schoolboy mystery that older people figure out decades later theme has been done to death, and the amount of ridiculous coincidences is laughable.

This was garbage.
