This ended up being very different from what I expected, and I really enjoyed it! It does get some into faith, and what people will do for their faith, but it's mostly about power and the abuses someone will commit to achiever that power.

It was really sad, seeing how much Kalki was controlled throughout his life, and the punishments he got for just wanting to be a normal kid. Also how much (most of) the rest of his family suffered. This also presents really interesting perspectives into gender ...more
