Claire Lake, Oregon is home to Shea Collins and Beth Greer. The present year is 2017. Claire Lake is also known for a set of murders that took place in 1977. The murders were dubbed the Lady Killer Murders.

Shea Collins is 29 and works as a receptionist at a doctor's office. In her spare time she runs a true crime blog. She has been interested in the Lady Killer Murders. The murders ended up being a cold case since Beth Greer was acquitted of the murders.

Beth Greer was a young woman back in 197 Claire Lake, Oregon is home to Shea Collins and Beth Greer. The present year is 2017. Claire Lake is also known for a set of murders that took place in 1977. The murders were dubbed the Lady Killer Murders.

Shea Collins is 29 and works as a receptionist at a doctor's office. In her spare time she runs a true crime blog. She has been interested in the Lady Killer Murders. The murders ended up being a cold case since Beth Greer was acquitted of the murders.

Beth Greer was a young woman back in 1977. She grew up in a huge mansion in an upscale neighborhood. Her parents were very rich. Tragedy struck and within a span of two years both her parents were dead. Then there were two murders that happened which she was arrested for and tried for. Once acquitted she stepped out of the public eye. That is until 2017.

Shea Collins was lucky enough to get an interview with Beth Greer. It's been 40 years since the murders but everyone was still curious about what she knew and if she really did it.

This book wasn't what I had expected. I got drawn in pretty quick as it opens with something mysterious surrounding Shea's past, which does come to light throughout the book. Besides the investigation that Shea does there is also a supernatural aspect to the book which was a nice surprise. Shea, as the main protagonist, I felt wasn't the strongest character. Even though the true crime was a hobby to her, the book seemed to portray her as being professional about it. She also really went after Beth in the interviews. It's like she became obsessed with her.

The other aspect of the book that got to be a little annoying was the repetition on a couple of things. It's felt like the same paragraph would be written about something the author had mentioned already. I understand the need to try and get a point across but authors really need to curb some of the repetition they put into books.

Overall the book was an entertaining and addictive read. I couldn't put it down. It was easy enough to figure out a part of the mystery of who done it. Ending felt a tad rushed and one of the incidents was a little confusing. ...more
