*hands cup of tears to Zusak*
"Cheers."
Seriously, I don't think I've ever downright sobbed while reading a book before, apparently I'm not reading very good books haha This book was amazing. Yes, parts of it were terribly sad, but the really beautiful parts were perfectly mixed in and just made me cry harder. But for you Zusak, for this book, I would happily (and likely will) give all my tears.

I loved this book. And when I started it, I really didn't think I would. I actually started it a few months ago and then put it down. I'm not even sure why, I was enjoying it... I guess I just got distracted by something else. And I knew it was going to be sad.

But this book is just beautiful! It's very touching and sweet, at the same time it's very real and sobering. I cried for pretty much the last 1/4 of the book. But it's one I'm keeping and I'm sure I'll reread someday.

Interesting point of view from Death. Dark yet humourous. The numerous passing of Death and the character... worth a read.

What a wonderful book. I fell in love with many of the characters and I even enjoyed the narrator. A different perspective on World War II. This story had me captivated and I was sad when it was over.
