Friends to lovers isn’t my favourite romance trope. It’s probably one of my most hated and I tend to avoid the genre. I prefer to read about my characters meeting for the first time. But anyways, I’ll give this one a go.

Contemporary romance isn't the usually genre I go for, so this was as a welcome change. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, we all do need a little romance in our lives. It is a fun and entertaining read, and I fell in love with Alex - sorry Poppy! Loveable, humorous and authentic characters. What's not to love? I discovered this read as a result of the 2022 Popsugar reading challenge, fulfilling prompt - A book set during a holiday.
