Ok I will admit at times I feel uncomfortable seeing reviews or even just people reading books by popular authors - STOP - dont get me wrong they can be amazing I just feel that I would be following everyone else blindly heaping praise just so I can be seen to be following the trend.
Well sorry to disappoint - I am going to be joining those masses in following the joy and praise of reading Neil Gaiman. I read this book in an evening while trying to complete another of the Bromiliad (think thats

The book tells of his adventures being raised by ghosts and how he deals with going back and forth between the real world and the ghoul world. All in the while, his killer is still on the loose and hoping to find Bod again one day and seek revenge. This book features black and white illustrations at the beginning of ...more

I didn't realize when I first started this book, that it was a retelling of The Jungle Book. Honestly it said graveyard and was by Neil Gaiman and that was literally all I needed to know to want to read it.
I had a lovely little time as I read along trying to figure out which characters here translated to the characters in TJB. Some were obvious, Silas had to be Baghera. The Sleer had to be Kaa. Miss Lupescu is probably Baloo, but I wasn't sure. Anyways, it was rather clever and I enjoyed it. I
