What a ride. Completely unexpected. The dialogue and characters are engaging. The insights into behavior are spot on and complex, from the near suicidal professor-narrator who changes her plans to the wacky, pouting 11-year-old daughter of the groom-to-be who is caught up in the whirlwind of his fiancé's elaborate week-long wedding extravaganza.
