This is definitely one of the best series in the world, if they make a movie of it I'm camping out in front of the theater. Honestly starting off reading this I was a little wary on where it was going. I tend to like books more about romance. I wasn't even sure what the gender was at the beginning. After I read this one I just couldn't wait for Catching Fire.

this was a great book i could not stop reading it so i read it and the 2nd book in 2 days
Of course this book is amazing! I had to see what all the hype was about and I wasn't disappointed. Needless to say I don't really have to give a huge explaination of the book, so I'll just give you a little review. I'd have to say that it suprised me because I'd seen the movie first then read the book. I think that the details are wonderful. Some of the crazy creepy moments make you feel like you're right there with her/them. I'd say it's well worth the read and not at all a waste of time.

This book was definitely one of the best books I have ever read! Suzanne Collins is a very talented author.
This book was a little gory, I have to admit, but without it the hunger games wouldn't be believable. I really doubt you could kill someone without blood with weapons, your bare hands, and ressources. (unless you poison them or something I guess. Or drown them. Or suffocate them... Nevermind.) ...more
