Nicolle
An extraordinary book about an extraordinary boy, though to me it did not live up to the hype.

I loved the book! It drew me in on so many levels and the writing was so good that I felt I was right there on the ship with him. I would highly recomend it!

This is the story of Pi Patel, a zookeepers son who was stranded in a lifeboat with a 450 lb. Bengal Tiger when the ship he and his family were on sunk. It is an amazing story of survival, spirituality and the strength of the human will to survive.

I saw the movie a couple of years before reading the book. As usual, although the movie was good, the book was much better.

I listened to the book using audible. The narration was great which provided even more enjoyment.

I encourage anyone to read this book as an encouragement to keep fighting and taming that "tiger" in their lives. ...more

I cant even be bothered to review this properly.

I dont like zoos and not bothered about animals. I was bored with the religious stuff and found his "nice" personality annoying.

Do try but not for me.
