That's the great part about short stories- love 'e or hate 'em they're over quickly. So Geektastic was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading rut. As usual my love- and considering the various realms of Geek there really are- understanding varied, but here's a quick review.

It was...interesting. It didn't quite live up to my expectations though. Some stories were hilarious and I really loved them, and then others were just a big question mark for me. None of them were the typical "geek" stories I was expecting and that kind of disappointed me.

I really wanted to like this more. I really did. I just... didn't. Some of the stories were amazing. Others were like "boohoo, my life sucks." If it's called geektastic, celebrating geekiness, then why write those at all? ...more
