I was seduced into reading this book, not because I had watched the Netflix Documentary (if that’s what it can be called) but by the hope to cut through some of the hype and get to facts. Michael Griesbach’s book does that – though it takes a long road to get there.

Griesbach's detailed account of "exculpatory" evidence from the documentary and how it was manipulated confirms my more recent suspicion that Avery is, indeed, guilty.
Some other reviewers were troubled by Griesbach's narration of events and his written account of his bonafides, but I didn't find that part problematic.
