Well. What a crazy world this is. I had read some news articles a few years ago about someone supposedly known from TV, an actrice helped this man and they were in a cult.
Move the clock to this year (okay 2020) and I was recommended this book. I also had a copy of Scarred another book about the cult so I read them both together.

This is not a great book. However, if you are a NXIVM completist like me, it is illuminating in a few areas: the Bronfman money and all it bankrolled, just how much of NXIVM is taken from the Scientology playbook (Fair Game-like tactics, the use of lawsuits to decimate defectors and critics), and some wild connections I was not aware of (Roger Stone! Senator Kristen Gillibrand?!?!?).
