Aw yes! Different but just as amazing

If Soul Tenders series has a darker, more mysterious and more sultry sister, it's this series. Technically, they really are sibling series as they are both from the same universe. Just that in Soul Charmers, I have experienced something more spicy.

In the previous trilogy, the situation/circumstances of the leads are obviously better. Tamer. I didn't mean to downplay the awesomeness of Soul Tenders but rather to just point out the glaring difference. Even the Aw yes! Different but just as amazing

I didn't mean to downplay the awesomeness of Soul Tenders but rather to just point out the glaring difference. Even the way the characters acknowledge their attraction with one another was different. Still, I love them both.

The details, the world building and the builup of the conflict were all as exceptional as what I have came to love about the author.

More importantly, the characters. I am forever in awe of their endurance and emotional strength. I love the brothers and their family.

I love Syndra. She was so far the most developed and improved character. It was tough how she grew up in such a soulless and heartless environment. She almost felt like a sociopath so I was wary of her at first. And then I was amazed because she herself has proven in a split decision to choose what she realized what was right even if she was kind of winging it. She even seemed freed.

Ez and all her fellow people before her have been under those High Mages' control for the past hundred years or so. And when I first realized what was happening, I felt nauseous and sick. Oasis, despite of its name, was truly an awful place.

Ez was amazing! She's pretty tough on herself which was why she won't let the brothers and their family take care of her in the first place. Growing up like that in Oasis, she wouldn't want to burden them and I think she didn't literally know how to accept help at first. It was stunning to see her get all affectionate and patient with the brothers later on though. Truly a wonderful sight to read.

I am freaking excited to see her grow more under the brothers' care and in turn, see the brothers officially fall for her. Their relationship was taking time to be built but that didn't mean anything to me as I love a good slowburn. And this author makes the best of the best. ...more

Charming the Flames is a bit of a Hero’s Journey kind of story - leaving home, learning about yourself, help on the way, things like that. Ezriel is a competent (though young) woman - she has some growing to do but she also has some serious guts to head out into a magical desert. There are some wonderful supporting characters - it reads more like an epic fantasy that her usual fare. Good book.

This book is greatly detailed and fun to read. I enjoyed Ez and the personalities of the guys. This book ties into the soul tenders series but it's not necessary to read that series before this one. The guys are all brothers so their will be no M/M ...more

Intense Journey

Ez has to embark on a journey to save herself from discovery because of her rare abilities. What she goes through and discovers only leads to a larger journey, more complicated entanglements and a prophecy to fulfil. Magic and flames!!!

Hell yes!!! I can not wait for the next book I. This series. I absolutely loved soul tenders series. So if you are looking for a new series with the same elements and some new outstanding characters this is a must read!!!
