i'm halfway through the book and i'm really torn between reading it slowly or bringing the book wherever i go so i can finish it sooner. scenes are heavy, heartbreaking and i get nervous while i am reading..it's as if i am also there. last night i actually found myself shaking with nervousness and panic because of what's happening in the story. there's so much suspense and i'm very eager to know what will happen next. but knowing this is the last book, i don't want it to end yet... i don't want

This book was definately a disspointment on so many levels. Of course I should have seen it coming because after talking with lots of people about the series they all agreed that Mockingjay was the worst in the series. I would deinately agree with that statement. The book had no plot. Katniss was the mockingjay and demanded lots. There were a couple bombings. They showed Katniss on TV a lot. They ran through some sewers. Katniss shot the president. Peeta went crazy. Gale went a wall at the end.

Peeta and Katniss come back together, and I feel every thing that Katniss feels, becuz Suzanne Collins writes so amazingl ...more

Okay. So I have a lot of thoughts about this book. I didn't like it as much as THG and CF. For one, the begging of the book was very drawn out. The reader only collects a bit of information from the first 100 pages. And then near the end it was death, death, death. Shouldn't there be middle? The deaths seemed...to sudden and quick for me to process. I know this IS war, but I think the characters needed perhaps a few seconds more? Speaking of deaths, I think Finnick's death was unnecessary. I sup

I can't decide whether to give this book five stars or if I could one. This book felt too real and this is not the greatest book for that. After I finished, at three in the morning I couldn't believe the ending. How do you come up with a story that sad? Katniss practically lost everything and everyone she cared about. However, her life still goes on and I can only imagine how strong you have to be to come from all that sadness and grief and still be able to experience happiness.
