I remember sitting across the table from my father in 1969, holding my breath and waiting for the next words in the broadcast from the first moon landing. I definitely know how all of those people all over the world were feeling as they waited to hear if the rescue attempt for the astronaut in this story was going to be successful!

This was a great book. Mark was a fantastic character. He was just the kind of character who can carry a book by himself. I really enjoyed his plight and I enjoyed rooting for him just as much.
I feel like this book read like a movie. I was seeing the movie in my head as I was reading it, and it kept me fascinated.
