Why of why did it take me three years to pickup book two? What in the world was I thinking? This series is great. I love Sabina, Adam, Slade and Maisie. They are all terrific characters that inject a ton of humor and snark into this nerve-wracking plot.

Sabina heads to NY with Adam and Giguhl to begin her mage training. But someone is trying to kill her.
I like this series. Sabina has had a tough life and I doubt it is going to get any easier anytime soon. Gigulh is pretty entertaining and you learn a bit more about demons this time around. The book does leave off with more of a cliff-hanger than the first one.
