Okay, though a bit un-inspired. Liked teh setting, and Miss Marple, and liked Tricia most of the time (at the end she was pretty curmudgeonly!). It wasnt bad, I just felt when I got to the end that nothing was surprising, and nothing really interesting had happened. I know someone died and thats not nothing, but you have to expect that when you start a murder mystery so its not a surprise :)

★★★½✩ to ★★★★✩ Pretty entertaining for a start of a cozy series and I was looking to fulfill my owing a small town bookstore fantasy. I couldn’t figure out why the female sheriff was so hostile, but that was answered by the end. I’d be willing to read the next in the series.
