for me, this book was better than the 2nd, new moon. i like that the cullins were back in the book and that charlie was coming around to edward. i didn't care for jacob though.i thought he was being a jerk. i understand that guys do fight over a girl, but i had thought he was over doing it, by constantly doing waht bella had asked not to do, and that was bash edward. i knew from the 2nd book that nella had ot for jake and knew who she really loved, but i wasn't too happy when she kissed jacob. i

Okay at this point we are standing on the edge of a cliff and I am ready to jump. While the story is still not bad, the whole can't choose between two guys while basically throwing yourself at a vampire and saying "bite me" is getting old. How about a little self respect? It is amazing how someone can take a good story line then complete make the reader hate everything else about the book. Of Course now you have to know if in the end Bella and Edward will be together or you'll have wasted your t

Once again, just a fast and easy read, which is needed at times. This book seemed to be the favorite for most Twilight fans. I thought the first book was better. I found myself just skimming a lot of the parts that were just Jacob and Bella. I knew I would think the Jacob/Bella story was boring, which was why I skipped New Moon altogether. I'm sure the movie Eclipse will be better than the book. I've been liking the movies much more.

thank god edward is back! the second book was so boring without him. but now that he is back, bella is torn between him and jacob. graduation is coming, and bella is holding carlise to his promise. there is only one thing she wants more than to be turned into a vampire...it's for edward to do it himself. there is only one way that edward will do it.....gotta read to find out!

It's a good read, although I find some of the subtext a bit distrubing, especially Bella's (in this volume very prominent) desire to become "a monster", as she put it herself. All in all I like the novel, but those passages never fail to irritate me.
