So many feels..
This was a hard one to get through at times. Eve and Roarke really went through it during this one. Eve's case really hit home for Roarke in more ways than one and it hit Eve personally as well. For a time, they let that get in the way of their relationship and it was hard.

Much more character development in this book than is average for the series. More about Eve's inner turmoil than anything else. However a couple of plot holes and things I didn't really buy into kept me from liking this more.

Another great combination of police procedural and the ongoing story of Roarke and Eve skilfully intertwined - 4.5 stars.

One of my favorites.

Good read, interesting developments for Eve and Roarke.
