Maybe I was off of my A game, but there were a few twists and turns I didn't see coming. This is unusual for an In Death book.
Eve is beginning to open up more to her friends. They are the family she never had and she's learning to be a real person. This dips a little deeper into the psychic/visions thing than any of the others have to date.
Not as funny as some of the others, but much more character growth and development. Now I can't wait for the next. ...more

First in the series that I'm giving 5 well-earned stars. One, there was a twist that I truly didn't see coming. Two, character development was great. It's nice to see Eve accept the changes in her life and how it makes her a better person as well a cop. Three, it made me cry in public. Any book that makes me cry in public is worth 5 stars.

Still going strong
Visions in Death (In Death Series #19)
Nineteen books and still going strong. This one was interesting and had a twist at the end that I wasn't expecting! That's what I love about this series. It still keeps me on my toes. And poor Peabody got put through the wringer in this one. But luckily she pulled through.
