This was my first foray into Hannah Swensen's kooky world in Minnesota. I really liked her character and the supporting characters as well. Coming into the middle (book #14) of the series left me hanging on Hannah's tolerance for Norman's BS. I felt this was rather unlike how a woman would handle the situation but then again I don't know the back story so I didn't let it annoy me too much.

When the substitute minister is murdered, the past and present collide as Hannah investigates. Not my favorite of the series but still enjoyable. But the last chapter has a zinger that will bring changes to her life.
