Paula goes away to have a spa weekend with Lucy and see the blooming of the Corpse Flower at the Titans Hotel. Only things go wrong from the start and a man who pesters her in the bar ends up dead and Lucy is missing.And no matter how much she tries to NOT be involved she is because the criminals THINK she knows something. Assisted by bikers and a homeless man she ties it all together and manages to survive as well.
I was a little disappointed in this one. The plot seemed to be all over the place. And the characters I loved from the first book - O'Malley and Babe - barely made appearances. The humor I loved in the first book was noticeably missing in this installment. I found the corpse plant to be boring and other then the stink of it, what was the point? I hope the next one is more like the first than the second.
