Re-Read 🔄
While I note this is a re-read for me, I don't recall much of the book from my first read of it. I remembered that I read it for school the first year I came to Australia (yes, my English was deemed enough to tackle this book). All I remember is that I don't particularly like it and there's a dead body somewhere... at least, this time around, I can make a note for my future self ;)

this is one of those books I read in high school that I didn't really appreciate. reading it again all these years later has really made me more aware of the great writing.
the characters were self-absorbed and sorely misguided but I really did enjoy it this time around.
