I find it interesting that the blurb doesn't mention Ethan is her former brother-in-law.
What I enjoyed:
* The Black Widows were very entertaining, although they don't seem to have any business sense or care one bit about their bakery.
* Ethan is about as perfect as you could ask for. He was willing to be whatever Lucy needed. (view spoiler)

A widow and her brother in law want to have a relationship. That's pretty much what the story is about. Unfortunately Ms. Higgins takes 393 pages to tell us the same thing. Nobody is particularly likable. So it was slow and repetitive and I didn't like any of the characters. Why did I still give it two stars? Because I liked the ideas. If I read the outline, I'd say, 'yep, I would like to read that.' Unfortunately something was lost in the execution. I think I'll probably pass on Kristin Higgins
