★★★★½ (This is a review of the audiobook.) Nicely narrated by Kate Russell; I enjoyed her voice speaking in first person POV as Gwendolyn Kidd. She made a couple of minor slips; like, not whispering a time or two when a character whispered, but these were very minor. She did a nice job on Cabe “Hawk” Delgado – yum! – too. There seemed to be some replacement “dubbings” in a few parts that would change the sound level, but the story was so good, it didn’t really take me out of the story for long. ...more

Ok, I liked the book when so many things happened in it that usually drive me crazy.

What I enjoyed:
* The story sucked you in with all the action and craziness going on, but still had heart.
* Gwen was pretty cool for someone so into shoes and cosmos. And she really only made one TSTL move and considering the craziness her life had turned into, that is a pretty good record.

I don't know WHAT I was thinking the first time I read this book, but I liked it a whole lot better the second time around! Now I don't know if it's because I've been reading a whole bunch of alpha hero books, or if it's because I just finished a book with an alphole hero before reading MM, but **sigh**, I really loved Hawk! Yeah, ok, it took him a while to open up, but rrrrawrrrr! And I still love Gwen and her relationship with Tack! Definitely going on to read the next books

*4.5 Stars*

I actually liked this one more than I’ve like some of Kristen Ashley’s other books. It got on my nerves when Gwen kept saying “Welp”, for stuff. I felt like that guy on the Princess Bride who said “I no think it mean what you think it means”. Also, it could have ended before it did, but it was definitely entertaining. I loved Hawk, he was dreamy. *sigh*
