The Wird sisters have always been in a word - weird. Their powers are different and as such they've tried to avoid the supernatural world, until they are dragged into vampire court and accused of killing a vampire.

Celia is the oldest and is a tiger shifter (but not a were). She's got a master vampire and a pureblood werewolf courting her, but she is very shy as her tigeress has scared off most the men in the past. The triangle seems fairly resolved, which is good because I hate them.

This is the first book in the Weird Sisters series and we meet Celia, Emme, Taran and Shayna wird who each have unusual talents/gifts. This is a surprisingly different urban fantasy that is action-packed from the first page. I enjoyed the variety of dangerous creatures and the Wird sisters strange gifts.

There were two things that irritated me. One was Celia Wird's insecure, self-conscious, whiny self. Man she has a hot werewolf and an even hotter vampire panting down her neck and she still acts
