I bought Burned by P.C. & Kristin Cast (House of Night book 7) earlier this week for My Lavender Kobo. I have read all of the House of Night books and had big hopes for Burned. And boy did it live up to them! I imagine it would be hard to keep all those details straight! The story begins where Tempted ends. Okay, this book in the House of Night series was exceptionally good. Without revealing too much of the plot, it follows Zoey and her H.O.N. friends after the confrontation with Kalona and Neferet.
Zoey suffers a great loss and it causes her soul to shatter, leaving her in Nyx's Otherworld, broken and hopeless.
Her friends have to work together to find a way to bring her back before her physical body dies.
It's a race they aren't sure they can win...But if they fail, the entire World as we know it ...more

Shelves: fantasy

It's a little slow moving, but I like the journey that both Stevie Ray and Stark had to go on. The further along you go, the more intense the story gets.
