I have wanted to read Butterfly Swords for a long time and am delighted that I finally got the chance to read it. The book is lush in its scope as well as suspenseful and sentimental. Chinese Princess Ai Li is on the run, escaping an arranged marriage. On the way she meets Ryam, a swordsman and foreigner. This road trip takes them through one type of intrigue and danger after another. All the while the two are building a deep, loving relationship.
