Tina Fey's introduction states “for me this book has been a simple task of retracing my steps to figure out what factors contributed to this person” an ordinary child, becoming famous, but secretly preferring performing out of the spotlight (my paraphrase of her photos). I have always enjoyed Tina Fey, especially in movies and it was fun to spend some time with her. Listening to the audiobook made it feel as if we were having a friendly conversation instead of just reading what felt like to me, individual essays about her life. I learned things about the comedian I didn't know and gained huge amounts of respect for her especially where beauty and parenting are concerned. A great quick read that will leave you with some laughs but nothing really memorable except
