When I first read this I was about the same age as Anne was when she began her diary. I re-read it in the 1990s after I visited Amsterdam and the Anne Frank House. I’m so glad I revisited it yet again.

I chose not to rate this book because I realiy can't critique it by sayng "oh, the author should've done this" or "the author needs to work on her pacing." Since she was 14, didn't control it being published and simply told real events, it's hard to say what should've been different.
