I enjoyed the I-Team. Megan and Nate are a great couple and loved them finding each other. Jack (Nate's dad), Emily, and Marc are great too. I found myself wondering if the I-Team crew may have some time gotten to know my beloved KA Rock Chicks, Hot Bunch, Dream Men, Chaos people that also run around Denver :). The bonus beer run was fun too! ...more

Really, was there even another kind of rating ever in consideration? Pamela's books are so awesome you automatically give 5 stars. The only thing wrong with this book was, it should've been longer, it leaves you kind of wanting more, but hey that's something that happens with all of Pamela's books. Nate was amazing, they way I love my heroes. Megan was indescribably great, I have no words to describe how much I liked Megan and their story together. A truly fantastic story, and I really hope that ...more

I love Pamela Clare's entire I-Team series. In five full-length novels and (now) two novellas, I haven't come across a single one I have not enjoyed. Generally, novellas are not my favourite reading material: I'm a very fast reader, so the shorter format tends to leave me unsatisfied and feeling like things developed entirely too quickly. Not so with Skin Deep-- while short (well, -er than a full I-Team novel, but at ~47,000 words it's no lightweight), it thoroughly & poignantly charts the emoti ...more

I generally don't read novellas, because I feel the author doesn't have the time to really expand her characters and story. Well, I will admit I was totally wrong, after reading Pamela Clare's Skin Deep. From the first page, the characters reach out for you and drag you into the story.

Megan is a single Mom, with a broken life. She has an adorable four year old daughter, named Emily, who thanks to Ms. Clare, truly acts and speaks like a four year old . Megan has survived frightening years of dr

I've been a fan of Pamela Clare's for a few years. I've read every one of her books more than once. They all have the perfect balance of romance & suspense. And just the right amount of details. Not so many that you feel so overwhelmed that you need to take notes and not so few that you don't know what's going on. SKIN DEEP is no exception. It's a sweet, sexy novella. I won't repeat the synopsis since you can read it above. Nate was the perfect man for Megan and her daughter Emily. Megan & Nate ...more

I loved Megan and Nate's story! They were perfect for each other, both having scars, albeit his visible and hers internal. They completed each other. I loved how Nate was so good with Emily and how sweet his father was as well. It is always great to get little glimpse of Julian, Zach Gabe, Marc and Reece as well!(wink wink)

Here is my Nate

Now I have to comment on Marc and Julian Make a Beer Run...what a great little short! Loved it. Here are Marc and Julian walking across the yard, on a missio

Although this story was short, it did a great job in detailing the progression of Megan and Nate's relationship. It didn't feel rushed and I loved the flavor added by Jack and Emily's characters. I was easily reeled in and quickly invested in the outcome of the H/h. They were both survivors -- people who'd come up against some of life's toughest circumstances and not only lived to tell but to triumph. It seemed fitting that they should find ultimate healing and a HEA with each other ...more

This is a lovely novella, with a great cowboy hero, who was severely scarred in a tour of duty in Afghanistan and Marc's younger sister who of any of PC's secondary characters ( read Unlawful Contact (I-Team, #3) by Pamela Clare ) deserves a HEA. I loved Emily, the captivating four year old, and Buckwheat, the scene stealing gelding! ...more
