Wow, what a page turner. I really like his writing. He's up there with all the great story tellers like David Baldacci and Orson Scott Card, just to name a couple. Made me more interested in finding out just what is really going on over there in Nigeria. Sometimes I live with my head in the sand because I just don't want to hear how horrible people can be. Riveting! Not recommended for a sensitive audience. Lots of fear, blood and gore. Great political plot line leading Alex Cross to Nigeria to seek "the Tiger."

Ugh, and just when I thought these couldn't get any worse. I miss the early Alex Cross books with twists & turns & whodunits! JP, if you can't write them anymore, please just bow out gracefully! This book was crap. I appreciate the attention to a political situation we don't know much about, but this is not the place to do it! I thought this book was a big, huge waste of my time and didn't even deserve to be promoted as an Alex Cross novel.
