What Members Thought
In this gross book, my expectations were low, but I was initially surprised by the volume and impact of insights on the nasty human condition. Many lines were highlighted, four star ratings were predicted. Sadly, this was not sustained for the entire work, and several disgusting characters and plot points choked or fell flat. The ending was rushed. Back down to three stars it is.
