I found this last book of the trilogy exceptionally disappointing. The writing was rushed and did not live up to the first two books, the storytelling felt almost accidental, and the ending almost an afterthought. It really feels like she was writing to a deadline and lost the first draft to a computer outage.

The final installment of the Hunger Games series was suspenseful, entertaining, and keeps you engaged the entire time. There were a couple of things that I could see coming, but I was glad that by no means was it a predictable book. The ending wasn't 100% what I was hoping the end might turn out, but that was just personal opinion. Overall I would give the entire series a big thumbs up!

I like!

I liked that this was a bit darker and grittier than previous books in the trilogy, and I respect the ending of the story. Glad to have soldiered through this iconic YA series, even if it wasn't exactly for me. ...more
