Could have easily finished this in a day, were it not for the darn day job. Excellent middle-grade book.

Wow! Kate Winslet really surprised me with her versatility in the voices she did for this audiobook. My husband and kids had never read Matilda, so this was a fun road trip family listen. That being said, I had forgotten (or maybe listening to it magnified it?) how absolutely horrid the parents and Mrs Trunchbull are, so families should be warned--this is is probably most suitable for older children who won't imitate the rudeness.
