What Members Thought

What a joy to read (and reread) some Edgar Allan Poe. I loved loved loved The Tell-Tale Heart, it was amazing. The Fall of the House of Usher was an old favourite that I enjoy rereading any time. And The Cask of Amontillado was a great mystery sort of riddle for the reader as it is a bit unclear what's going on but oh, man, was it fun! So so much fun!

I love teaching this Poe short story to my ninth graders each year. Add "The Cask of Amontillado" and you have two powerful short stories to discuss with the students.
