What Members Thought

I hate this book. The rose was so not worth to be loved, the little prince wandered through the world and didn't care one bit whom he hurt... I don't like the writing, the story, the characters nor the message. Totally worthless and horrible book. I don't understand why so many people love it.

I can't remember if I'd read this all the way through before. I got it when I was little, and I just found it in a storage bin in the basement and figured it'd be an easy read. I can see why people say they find something new in it every time they read it, I'm going to have to read it several more times!

Always a favorite....

We tend to exist on our own planets without consideration for the other planets. Some of us are involved in frantic work, some are lost in sorrow, and some of us are caring for what or who we love. The tendency towards isolation but the need for community is pictured very clearly in this book.
This book reminds me to value what is valuable. It is about greiving. Its about creativity. Every time I read it there is something else that stands out to me -- which is one mark of a classic.
