What Members Thought

Daphne du Maurier enthralls and enchants me again. This book is less foreboding than others but is still wonderful. What is not to love about French pirates wooing an English woman and then allowing her to live a moment as a pirate herself? I wonder who Hitchcock would chose to play as Dona and Frenchman, any guess? This book was kindly sent by Pat and will follow to Bettie in Sweden.
