Shelves: incomplete
Ironically this book seemed so dark and depressing and it gave me a headache. It was so disjointed. I suppose if he had given as much thought into character development as he did into setting the political tone I might have made a connection between the characters and the politics of their time. I just gave up caring about these people. I'm going to save this book for a long wait at the hospital with no other reading options. ...more
