This book was well-written, but really depressing and I didn't really like any of the characters. It's about Dominican men and how trashy they treat women. Nothing I really want to think about for a week while I read this book. There are broader issues of immigration, poverty, cancer, and drug use in the book too - just really, really sad. ...more
