Read this for the second time. What a powerful and haunting novel. Still one of the best books I have ever read!
Not as sad as the next book by the same author. An interesting look into a culture we need to know more about.
A good friend of mine lent me this novel and I am at loss on how I can describe it to you. It's fantastic yet not mind blowing, it is a brilliant narrative yet not riveting, it is...well I don't know how to explain. It is a really good read, a must read for all book lovers. A fictional novel based on the realities of Afghanistan's history, well constructed and an interesting plot.
