A sweet story of young star-crossed love that also manages to be creepy as hell.
Seriously, where were the YA books like this when I was in high school!!
Aside from graphic depictions of what it must be like to be chewed on by wolves, what upset me the most was the main character's parents. They were just awful! Not abusive, just criminally selfish, immature and neglectful. Not that I am a perfect parent myself, but I like to think I would at least know if my daughter were...you know...doing it wi

This book came off as a surprise. I really thought when i rented it from the library that it was just going to be another badly written and over hyped book. I just picked it up out of curiosity. Now i won't say i'm bowing at the feet of the author since it had some issues, but i was really impressed. Impressed enough that i'm definitely going to be reading the next book in the series and hope they make a movie adaptation of it.

The premise of the book is basically when she was a young girl Grace

I'm torn about this book.... I liked it once I finished it, but the first three quarters of it was a bit hard to get into. I loved the premise, but some of the interactions, the dialogue, and the characters’ actions were a bit unrealistic – okay, I know ‘realistic’ isn’t a word to use when reading this kind of paranormal story, but some of the exchanges seemed unlikely and out of character for Sam (who is 18) & Grace (17). The one thing I just can’t get over: even when they both knew their time ...more

Uses pretty much the same formula as Twilight but with a werewolf as the love interest instead of a vampire.
