This was actually really good. Better than i expected it would, to be honest. I really enjoyed the whole concept and idea about how the 'Uglies' were. I enjoyed how the author spun his whole world. It was very interesting and i'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

This was a really fun book with a future vision way past our time. It will be a great movie, with sequels, because the cool kids ride skate boards that glide through space. Once again the archetype of the young adult, this time a girl named Tally Youngblood, becomes the hero. But this book has a twist where the hero also is manipulated into becoming the villain against her will by the evil Dr. C. Someone asked me if there were a moral to this story. Yes. The moral in question format might read "

I liked this book and moved right on to the next one. The thing I liked most at least in this first book is there was no sex and no inappropriate language just something fun a teenage girl could read without a mother worrying. We'll see if the others hold up.
