One of my favorite Dickens' novels. Long as usual, due to the serialization of published works of his time, and that authors were paid by the page, still a great read. The first slow moving 200 pages set the stage for the last 100+, heart stopping pages. Set in the French Revolution of the late 1700's and the infamous guillotine beheading of their King and Aristocracy, the two cities contrasted are Paris and London. Peace versus Chaos. Tyranny vs Democracy. Good Read
